Phil Marshall is a S.F. Bay Area painter and printmaker.
His works on paper and canvas are primarily abstract images which often combine additional representational elements. Marshall creates multi-layered images which include day to day musings, word works, and broad expressive brushwork.
Marshall owned and operated Marshall Arts, a screen printing, embroidery, and design studio in Marin County, California for over forty years. His fine art studio, located inside various Marshall Arts locations, continued as a hub for this work to develop over the decades.
In 2021 Marshall moved his painting studio to Mark Drive Studios in San Rafael, CA.
